Liz's Kitchen has the nicest staff and great food and prices.Sunday's after Church it's always packed with people. The Staff does a tremendous job of getting people in and out but you don't feel rushed. They are like family to everyone. They have been at the same location for years and I've been going there for years. Love them and their awesome food and desserts..

Top notch traditional American breakfast. Crisp bacon, home fries and eggs. The biscuits are fluffy and delicious. We ate there 3 mornings and recognized the locals like the place.

Found this spot near our RV park here in Goodlettsville TN. Very good home style cooking. We had the pork chop with 2 sides. Was so good we took 2 pork chops home for dinner. Our server Pam was very attentive, even got a hug when we left. Highly recommend for home cooked meals.

First of all if you can get in the building it's definitely worth the wait. Family ran establishment with the nicest people. They had several options to choose from. I opted for the chicken and dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese, and deviled eggs. I did get fruit tea and banana pudding and everything was fire. I will easily without a second thought be going back. If you don't want to wait you can also call in your order.

All Liz's southern food is delicious. Her pies are in a league of their own. The servers are as close to having dinner served by your family. Very clean establishment. The only issue I encountered was standing in a long line at the register! Please Liz get an outstanding cashier or add a register. That is reason a rated 4 stars rather than 5 stars. Excellent. Thank you, Yelpers. Driving home from MS to IN and was looking for something around Nashville. Food was excellent. It was hopping in there and I see why. I've learned it takes skill to have good food without over salting. The catfish was light and crispy. Pinto beans were flavorful as were the greens. Chicken livers were very tender and fried just right. The deviled eggs were slightly sweet. Got some banana pudding which they serve warm. It will be just as good cold because it is fire. And the young ladies working the room are awesome. Service fantastic.

Today was mine and my husband's first time at Liz's. I saw a segment about it on Channel 5's Talk of the Town so we had to try it. I had their catfish with hush puppies, white beans and cabbage and my husband had the catfish, hush puppies, white beans and slaw. Everything we had was very good and was cooked just as we liked it. The chocolate pie and blueberry cobbler with ice cream was excellent. Our server was very friendly and attentive even though they were extremely busy. Our food was hot and arrived quickly. This will not be our last visit...we'll be back!!

Awesome home cooked food. Service is friendly and the ambiance is cute. I wouldn't go during lunch tho bc it is super crowded with the rushing lunch crowd. If it's before 12 or after 1 it's reasonable space. Although all the people are nice and it's a delicious country meal. Prices are reasonable.

(In my opinion) Absolutely NOTHING in the world beats some southern soul food. You may be having the worst day ever but you sit down and eat some food that was made with a good amount of seasoning and a whole lot of a love and it may not fix all your problems but you are definitely going to feel better! And that is EXACTLY how I feel about Liz's! Everything you eat is loaded with flavor and just wraps your soul in a warm hug! Especially those those sweet potatoes! OMG, divine! Im a grown woman and I'm not afraid to admit that I licked the bowl clean! The fried chicken was nice and moist with a great crunch. And let me tell ya, that jalapeño cornbread is no joke! They do not skimp out on the jalapeños, but trust me, you want to get it! The cornbread is so sweet and spongey! Also- who ever gave them a bad review because it was "pack and there was a huge crowd" is a bonehead. THATS A GOOD THING! Yes, this place is busy! But that's because its freaking amazing! But do keep that in mind when deciding to go. Give yourself plenty of time to wait to be seated and do expect a fast paced environment while you're in there. Those angels are hard at work and doing phenomenal job! Finally, their portions are in abundance and the price will just knock your socks off if the food hasn't already... but trust me, it will :)
